AVL Electrical Services

Four links on your own homepage go to a 404, and one of them is a headline service.

The goal

Most Perth electrical businesses your size sit between $30k and $100k a month. If the goal is holding $100k consistently rather than riding the season, this is about the gap between those two numbers.

What we found

1

Four links on your own homepage go to a 404, including a service card and "+50 more suburbs"

Checked 16 September 2026: "Safety Switches & RCDs", one of your six main service cards, links to a dead page. So do "Beechboro" and "Wangara" in your service areas grid, and "+ 50 more suburbs". The Beechboro one is a one-character fix, a working page already exists at a slightly different URL.

What it costs: Someone who didn't see their suburb in the list clicks "+ 50 more suburbs" wanting to know if you cover them. That's a person with a job to book, and they get a dead end.

The fix: Fix the Beechboro link (one character), fix Wangara, and point the safety switches card at a real page. An afternoon.

You have 91 Google reviews. Your website says 87, and 83 of your 84 suburb pages show no rating at all

Checked 16 September 2026: your live Google Business Profile shows 4.9 stars from 91 reviews. Your website says 87 in four places, hardcoded rather than pulled live. Your switchboard page shows a rating with no count, and 83 of your 84 suburb pages carry no rating or review count anywhere.

What it costs: Your strongest asset, a 4.9 rating with an actively managed profile, is missing from almost every page a customer could actually land on.

The fix: Pull the number live from Google so it shows 91 and updates itself, and put it on every suburb page, not four.

Eighty-three of your suburb pages are the same sentence with the suburb swapped, and none of them rank

Checked 16 September 2026: 83 suburb pages built in 2018 all contain this identical sentence, only the suburb changes: "we pride ourselves on providing our clients with a premium level of customer service, honesty, competitive pricing and a high-quality job." Ahrefs confirms the result: your whole site ranks for exactly one keyword in Australia, your own brand name.

What it costs: Eighty-three near-duplicate pages from 2018 tell Google this business has nothing new to say, and it shows, none of them earn a single visit.

The fix: Your rebuilt Ballajura page is genuinely good and proves the fix works. Do that another 10 or 12 times for the suburbs that matter, and delete the rest.

4

Your Google profile lets people book online. Your website never mentions it.

Checked 16 September 2026: your Google Business Profile lists a ServiceM8 link alongside your website, which typically powers a "Book Online" button straight into your calendar. Your website makes no reference to it anywhere, and instead says "the one thing we don't do is price a job over the phone" and "we don't run a 24/7 line".

What it costs: A customer who finds you on Google Maps can book in two taps. A customer who finds your website has to call between 7:30 and 5 on a weekday. The channel that converts worse is the one you're paying to maintain.

The fix: Confirm your ServiceM8 booking link and put the same button on every page of the site.

Who we've helped: We recently helped Daniel from Nexus Electrical Co, a Perth electrician, with his Meta ad content and website landing pages. Real result: 16 leads at $41.57 cost per lead in his first campaign month.

Hey, thanks for taking a look at the audit.

I only spent about half an hour on your digital presence and found these four things. They're not the biggest issues out there, but they all add up to how you rank and how you show up online.

If you want to go deeper, I'd love to take a proper look at your paid ads, specifically Google and Meta, and hear a bit about your business and where you want to take it, whether there's a revenue number you're chasing. We specialise in Perth service businesses, tradies and schools included.

If any of this is worth a conversation, send me a message below and I'll give you a call.

Thanks,
Chris
